Asterix depends on the active members in committees. These committees are responsible for running parts of Asterix, and for organising races organised by Asterix.
The activity committee is responsible for organizing most of the fun and social activities that Asterix offers. This includes the standard yearly activities like the New Year’s dinner, the cocktail party and end-of-year barbecue. Next to these they organize a few extra activities every few months.
Invitational committee of experienced members that will advise, assist, and support the current board when necessary.
Committee that is responsible for organizing the annual Asterix Track Competition, a large athletics event on our own track.

Committee that is responsible for organizing the annual Dommelloop running event at the university campus. The event will usually be held in the spring.
Committee that is responsible for organizing a number of small competitive events held within the association: the crosscountry race, pentathlon, greatest gaul and Dutch Beerchase Championships.

This committee will be tasked with organizing the NSK Ekiden. In this NSK, a group of students (6 people) complete a full marathon together in relay form. The event will happen on 21st of March.
Committee that is responsible for organizing our cross country race that will be organized in Waalre in February, the finale of the prestigious Kempische Cross Competitie.
Committee that is responsible for the public image of the association, all kinds of promotional activities and promotional materials. This includes: Instagram, Facebook, Asterix Blog.
Playful committee of strong Gauls who carry the chairwoman of the board on a shield during official speeches.
Committee that is responsible for finding, recruiting and maintaining new and existing sponsors for the association.
This new committee will create the competition teams in consultation with the trainers. Members will be invited into the committee.
Committee that is in charge of the maintenance, functioning and content of the website. Besides this, this committee will manage the nextcloud, keeping files safe and guaranteeing the privacy of Asterix members.
